This time we designed a font of ink streaks on paper and named it Sketching. We loved creating it because this is a work of art in itself, making it through a long process. Every letter we made has always maintained its distinctive style. We hope you are all happy with our latest font.

I finally managed to create a font from the characters I wrote on my Etch A Sketch board. A bit grungy, but definitely something else.

Draft Beer is a bold script suitable for logos, letterheads & headlines and was inspired by the lettering used by Miller Brewing Co.

With Encercle Draft, you can create circles and other shapes containing numbers up to 999999. Here's how it works: hold shift and type the number of digits, followed by a number. If you want the number 25, hold shift, type 2 followed by 25. If you want the number 250, hold shift, type 3 followed by 250. Linotype Sketch is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. German designer Dieter Kurz gave his display font a calligraphic character. The forms lean slightly to the right and have a spontaneous and individual look. This light, cheerful font also displays a harmony among the forms and gives text a personal touch. Linotype Sketch combines well with modern text fonts which have the same narrow proportions. This font is well-suited for headlines and short and middle length texts with point size 12 or larger.

Hand Draft is hand crafted to emulate both the early printer’s serif font and/or a hand-drawn version of an early Serif font, using either a felt or round nibbed pen. Carefully designed to recreate a sturdy Sans Serif font with just the right amount of artistic imperfection, in three styles: outlined, hatched, and solid. A little funky and slightly grungy, this hand-drawn font is intentionally not quite perfectly rendered.

Within the pages of “The Essentials of Lettering” by Thomas E. French and Robert Meiklejohn (circa 1912) is an example for creating a sans serif alphabet and numerals. The lesson plate is entitled “Upright Single-Stroke Gothic”; a basic monoline font most useful for architectural and drafting plans because of its easy-to-read properties. This type design is now available as Drafting Class JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.
